Chris Steel

Chris Steel is the head coach at the Poachers BJJ Team.

Chris is a serving soldier and has been for the last 16 years. Chris started training martial arts in 2009, starting of with boxing as a young lad and then later on transitioning to MMA in 2012. In 2015, Chris solely focused on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Settling at Loughborough BJJ, training under 3rd degree black belt Nathan Beeby and went on to achieved his black belt in 2021.

Chris has fought in numerous competitions across the world, such as Masters World Championships in Las Vegas, twice at the European Championships in Portugal, along with serval across the UK.

His biggest achievement was achieving Gold at British Open in 2021.
